9-21-19 Great Fall Fishing

9-21-19 Islamorada Fishing Report
We’ve had a great late summer and early fall season offshore of Islamorada and the Florida Keys. The dolphin or mahi mahi fishing has been excellent and we’ve actually had better fishing in August and September than we had all spring and early summer this year! There have also been plenty of blackfin tuna offshore of the upper keys with the only obstacle being the large concentration of sharks that have been stealing a good percentage of the tuna from us on some fishing charters. the reef and bottom fishing have both been good as well. I’ve been doing about 1/2 of the charters aboard the Capt. Easy and 1/2 aboard the new boat the last few months. I’m really enjoying the new boat, the Conch 27 has exceeded my expectations so far. I’ll continue to run the Capt. Easy through November, but soon after that we will be taking her out of service as I switch to the Conch 27 full time. I will be offering all of the same types of fishing as before and I hope all of you will join me on the new boat in the future. Thanks for reading and here are some pics!
