We’ve had some very good fishing the last few weeks on both the Capt. Easy and the Easy Does It! Offshore fishing has been good with a few really nice dolphin or mahi mahi mixed in to the catch with black fin tuna, amberjack, wahoo, kingfish, mutton snapper, and grouper all part of the catch on different days depending on the fishing conditions and the type of fishing we’re doing. Reef Fishing for yellowtail snapper has also been excellent and we’ve been seeing cero mackerel, king mackerel, mangrove snapper, mutton snapper, and grouper on the reef as well. We’re looking forward to the grouper opener on may 1st as we’ve been releasing a lot of nice black grouper on our fishing charters and are ready to start harvesting them when the season opens. Inshore fishing has also been excellent. The tarpon bite has been getting better every week and both daytime and evening tarpon or tarpon and shark trips have been very good with lots of action and a very high catch rate on tarpon with at least one tarpon landed on almost every fishing trip. These charters should be red hot for the next 2 to 3 months! Here are some pics including a very nice shot I recently took of a tarpon jumping off the bow of the easy does it with the sun setting through the trees. Thanks for checking out our reports and I hope we see you soon!
